Yellow Hibiscus

The Yellow hibiscus was my mothers favorite flower.  You would walk past a huge old bush that was  always in bloom on the way from the driveway to the front door. These large blooms grew to over six inches across, vibrant in color, and outstanding in beauty.  These blooms would close up at sunset and reopen at sunrise.  The bush in front of our house was home to mocking birds, blue jays and even an occasional raccoon.
