When corresponding with this misplaced Floridian she mentioned she had roots on the Gulf coast. With her fond memories of Florida, she seems to have sand in her shoes. She writes of her work:
I've been making jewelry for 20 years, and was finally seduced by gemstones and
pearls. My goodness, they're fun to work with!
I've got a full time family, three cats, one dog (a wonderful Samoyed), two
birds (a Quaker Parrot and a Sun Conure - if you're lucky enough to be owned by
birds you know what a blessing they can be - and a trial too!) Also a cuddly
guinea pig and non-cuddly but cool lizard.
I make jewelry full time. This is my business, my hobby, my avocation. I like it
